CYC Convention 2011
The National CYC Convention was held in Edmonton, AB, from August 11-14th, 2011.
The Ivan Danylychuk Branch Jr. CYMK of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral was awarded the Baziuk Trophy for the most active Jr. CYMK local in Canada for the period of 2009-2011!!! The National CYMK Advisers and committee who reviewed the applications were particularly "blown away" with the Empty Bowls project, our CYMK Carnival personally inviting young families from the churches, and our CYMK Has Talent night.

Once of the resolutions from the convention was to increase CYMK's membership by a minimum of 10% prior to the next convention. We are confident that we will be all be working together as a united and strong team to achieve this goal................and support our Ukrainian Orthodox Youth!! Our CYMKivsi are already bursting with fresh ideas!!!
We made it back to Winnipeg with wonderful smiles on our faces as we recall the many convention events and discussions over the days of the convention.
